About the Journal
OVERVIEW
Wadi Alshatti University Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (WAUJPAS), ISSN (Online: 3006-0877) is owned and published by Wadi Alshatti University. WAUJPAS is an open access, multidisciplinary, peer‐reviewed, biannual journal. The first issue of the journal appeared in 2023. It aims to contribute in improving publishing scientific research in the Libyan community and other places as well. WAUJPAS publishes original research papers written in Arabic or English free of charges. There are no fees on publication with WAUJPAS.

WAUJPAS aspires to enable to have an important role as a research incubator at the national, regional and international levels.

Emphasizing the high quality of scientific research to enhance its ethics, meet the requirements for publishing distinguished scientific research, and building partnerships with researchers in Libya and international research institutions.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
WAUJPAS is a peer-reviewed open-access journal, that means all published articles are "free available on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, is to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. There is not necessary to get a permission to reuse content from the journal, as the authors hold the copyright to their articles. These authors have specifically chosen to make their articles available for reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial CC BY-NC 4.0. This license permits others to remix, adapt, and expand upon the authors' work in a non-commercial manner. While proper acknowledgment of the authors and their original work is required for any derivative works, there is no obligation for these derivative works to be licensed under the same terms
PLAGIARISM AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POLICY
Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source, even from your own publications, without giving any credit to the original source. Reuse of text that is copied from another source must be between quotes and the original source must be cited. A paper that is written by any Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is not considered your own original work. It doesn't matter which AI tool you used. Using any of these to write your papers is considered a form of plagiarism. WAUPASJ has a zero-tolerance policy towards the plagiarism and AI. Editorial has checked the manuscripts for plagiarism and AI after receiving the article by Turnitin software. If found plagiarism exceeds 30% or AI is not zero, the article will be rejected. In case that a paper is already published in our journal but plagiarism is still detected, it will be retracted from our journal and the authors' institutions and department heads will be notified to take action.
